The Kniestedt Foundation is excited to announce they will once again be conducting a team effort that will result in six military Veterans heading out West during the fall of 2018 in pursuit of big game. Three separate events are planned, with two events in Wyoming and one in Colorado. The first event will feature two U.S. Army Veterans on an archery elk hunt through Mangis Guide Service out of Jackson, WY in the Bridger-Teton National Forest September 16-22. Just two weeks after the conclusion of the elk hunt, two additional U.S. Army Veterans will be pursuing monster mule deer in the Salt River Range and Greys River Drainage in Wyoming along with Salt River Range Outfitters October 1-5. As the Wyoming portion concludes two U.S. Marines will be joining Hooker Mountain Outfitters in Hayden, CO October 19-23 to once again pursue mule deer.

The Kniestedt Foundation would like to extend their gratitude to Wyoming residents Norma and Dan Winder for their donation of elk and mule deer tags and also to the outfitters assisting us with each hunt.

The Break will be joining each event and the hunts can be viewed during their 2019 season on The Pursuit Channel. Up to date details of each event can be discovered on the Kniestedt Foundation’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
