Race Description:
Imagine a race across the entire state of Missouri, just your team and your boat thrown against 340 miles of wind, heat, and rain. The MR340 is no mama’s boy float trip. This race promises to test your mettle from the first stroke in Kansas City to the last gasp i n St. Charles.
The Kniestedt Foundation Team of Joe Rhodes and Kevin Sheets will be setting their sights on completing the MR340 (July 20-23) while also raising funds for Veterans through the Kniestedt Foundation.
Participants are allowed exactly 85 hours to complete the course. There are nine checkpoints along the route where paddlers are required to sign in and sign out. Cutoff times will be associated with these checkpoints based on the 85 hour pace. Failure to miss a deadline is grounds for disqualification. Only 2/3 of the teams were able to do that last year.

Per Mile Donors:
Donors that select the per mile option are pledging an amount per mile the Kniestedt Foundation team completes. The per mile amount can be as large or small as the donor wishes, just remember this number will be multiplied by the number of miles completed. The maximum number of miles that can be completed is 340. Upon completion of the race per mile donors will be contacted regarding their donation.
Any donation that equals $50.00 or more will receive an official Kniestedt Foundation/MR 340 Sun Shirt.
Deadline to donate and receive a race shirt i s the completion of the race on July 23, 2021.
Set Donations:
