Healing Through the Outdoors

The Kniestedt Foundation was established in 2015 in appreciation of those who have committed their lives to the service of our country. Founded by Army Special Operations Veteran James Kniestedt, the foundation provides exceptional hunting, fishing, and outdoor experiences for Veterans and active duty service members of the United States Armed Forces.

We believe the sports of hunting and shooting empower individuals by providing an opportunity to connect with nature, challenge the mind to greater focus, and engage the body in physical activity.

We lean into nature to connect with individuals and gain an understanding of their true needs. Our members invite them into our network of support and begin what will eventually become a long-term relationship with the Kniestedt Foundation.
