On April 28, 2017 the Kniestedt Foundation will celebrate its first birthday. As our first official year of operation comes to a close our entire staff has came to the same conclusion; what an amazing first year we have been blessed to have!  Our staff has had the distinct pleasure to meet some of our nation’s finest and their families through the five hunting experiences we hosted this year: Hunting with Heroes, Women Veterans Hunt, Lamar Brothers, Cast & Blast and Ernest Hinojosa in Wyoming. At the turn of every corner we have been  impressed with the eager and willing individuals and corporations that have continually stepped up to make sure all event attendees have had a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Along with the veterans, the sponsors and volunteers have truly been the heartbeat of each event we’ve hosted.

As a successful inaugural year comes to a close our staff has recognized that the bar has been set.  With each coming year it will always be our personal goal to get better at what we do so that we can best serve our nation’s heroes.  As we look ahead at what we have planned for veterans and active duty service members we could not be more excited for what this year is sure to hold. Our first event of 2017 will be a hunting and fishing experience titled Tusks & Tailsl  for active duty service members hosted by Gravick Ranch on April 26-30.  In addition, Kniestedt foundation is actively planning additional events for the fall of 2017 and the winter of 2018.
