Hunting With Heroes – February 2016 Hunt

This past month Gravick Ranch and the Kniestedt Foundation had the privilege to organize our first annual Hunting With Heroes event at Gravick Ranch in San Isidro, Texas. The event gave three veterans, Kate Callahan, Alvin Guerrero, and Steve Miller the opportunity to travel to South Texas to harvest feral hogs while enjoying the other activities Gravick Ranch has to offer. The veterans arrived at the ranch on a Friday afternoon and were gifted their new Matthews Mission Sniper Lite crossbows. After the two evening hunts and one morning hunt, all three veterans harvested large Texas hogs! Besides the successful hunts the veterans also got time to shoot skeet and tour the facilities while also relaxing and living large in Gravick Ranch’s trophy room.
